Banks
The closest ATM is located downtown and is easy to reach from the fairgrounds. From the Rhine River go left past the Rathaus, cross the Rheinallee, and straight into the city. At the fountain, you will find the ATM on the right.
The banks in the vicinity of the fairgrounds can be found as follows:

A branch of the Sparkasse Mainz is behind the Cathedral (Dom) when coming from the fairgrounds.
HypoVereinsbank AG is located at Gutenbergplatz 18,
Raiffeisen-Volksbank eG has a branch at Gutenbergplatz 1 and
Citibank can be found at Flachsmarkt 4.

Book Fair Duration / Opening Hours:
Thursday + Friday from 1400 – 1930 hours (21 and 22 May)
Saturday from 1000 to 1930 hours (23 May)
Sunday from 1000 to 1800 hours (24 May)

As in the past, the show will remain closed to the public on Friday morning until 1400 hours; this is Publishers Day. Here you may leave your booth and stroll through the fair, without crowds of visitors.

Booth Setup
Booths may be set up as of 0800 hours on Thursday morning (21st May) (absolutely not earlier!) and must be completed by 1300 hours. As of 1330 hours, we will award the remaining booths to those on the waiting list (fair opens at 1400 hours). The fair tents are located directly behind City Hall (Rathaus). You may drive to the tents via the street to the left of the Rathaus. This street is not shown on the city map, but it is precisely located where the P stands over the word "Rheingoldhalle" on the map. It is the same road leading to the car park; only you pass a barrier to the banks of the Rhine River. If you travel by car, please bring your certificate of attendance with you and place it in the windshield so that it is clearly visible. The name of the publishing firm must be legible. You are entitled to drive along the promenade on the bank of the Rhine River for a stay of 60 minutes, to load and unload supplies next to the fair tent. If this time is exceeded, cars will be towed away. Please comply with this regulation; your compliance is also in the interests of your colleagues.
