V. O. Stomps Prize

For the 16th time since 1978, the City of Mainz will be awarding a prize named after V.O. Stomps to honor his memory as a publisher, writer and promoter of literature. Every two years, this prize honors quality and personal commitment by a small publisher. The prize comprises two times 2,500 euros and is for achievements in the fields of publishing firms and magazines. It will be awarded as part of the opening of the 20th Mainzer Minipressen-Messe (May 21-24, 2009). You will find a list of all previous V. O. Stomps prizewinners here.
